Soziales Engagement
Seit mehreren Jahren habe ich die Möglichkeit die Arbeit von Right To Play zu verfolgen. Ich bin überzeugt, dass eine der besten Möglichkeiten, die Verhältnisse in Krisen- und Entwicklungsländern positiv zu verändern, bei den Kindern liegt.
Durch die Spiel- und Sportprogramme von Right To Play lernen Kinder einander zu respektieren, sich vor Krankheiten zu schützen und konstruktive Konfliktlösungen zu finden.
So erhalten sie und ihre Gemeinschaften die Chance, ihre Zukunft besser zu gestalten. Dazu möchte ich kurz- und langfristig als Künstlerin meinen Beitrag leisten.
Zum einen konnte ich mein Bild „Carolina“ der Right To Play Auktion am 16.11.2015 spenden, welches erfolgreich versteigert wurde.
Ich habe dieses Bild inmitten eines Wintersturmes gemacht. Es symbolisiert für mich Vertrauen, Schutz und Wärme, trotz scheinbar schwierigster Verhältnisse, das was Right To Play für die Kinder darstellt.
Zum anderen habe ich mich entschlossen von allen Bildern meiner Kollektion, die ich über Right To Play verkaufe, 20% des Ertrages zu spenden. Weitere Aktionen werden folgen.

play to educate and empower children facing adversity. We use play-based activities, games and sports to teach children how to protect themselves from disease, encourage them to attend and stay in school and model ways to resolve conflict to create a peaceful community. Worldwide our programs reach one million children weekly. By using play we put children at the center of their learning and set them on a course to a brighter future
Social Engagement
For several years now I have had the opportunity to follow, the amazing work of Right To Play.This convinced me that one of the best opportunities for effecting change, in crisis-torn countries and the developing world, lies with the children that live there.
The play and sports program offered by Right To Play help children to learn how to respect each other, to protect themselves from disease and to find constructive solutions to conflict. They, and their communities, are therefore better able to shape their future.
Given my connection with Right To Play, and my career as a Fine Art Photographer, I would also like to make a contribution to these children’s futures. I am therefore delighted to be able to offer one of my most successful pictures, "Carolina" to be auctioned.
The “Carolina’ image belongs to my current, limited-edition collection known as "Journey to the Cows". As you can see, I took this photo in the middle of a winter blizzard. Despite the harshest of conditions, to me this picture symbolizes confidence, protection and warmth.
These are exactly the attributes that I believe Right To Play represent to the children they support.
I would also, though, like to contribute to Right To Play moving forward. Therefore, 20 percent of the proceeds of all future sales of my collection made in collaboration with Right To Play will be donated to this worthy cause. More offers will follow.
